Lode Runner is one of my favorite games of all times. I played countless hours to Lode Runner and Championship Lode Runner on NES, Hyper Lode Runner on my old Game Boy classic, and Lode Runner: The Legend Returns on MS-DOS and Windows versions in my first computer (also tried the latest version of the game on XBox360/XBLA).

I’m spent a lot of time playing with the level editor creating my own levels (the level editor of the Game Boy vesion was my favorite with the doble room mechanic) and always tried to imagine how could be a narrative platform adventure game using the Lode Runner mechanics. The level editor, new mechanics and visual aesthetic of Lode Runner: The Legend Returns bring me the oportunity to run this experiment.
